THE PITTSBURGH RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL’S
16th CENTURY CASTING CALL
AUDITIONS for MUSICANS, ACTORS AND ACTRESSES !

The Performance Company for the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival is looking for NEW Entertainers to participate in the 2012 Annual Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival on weekends and Labor Day from August 18 through September 23.  The Festival is seeking Enthusiastic Musicians to help create that Festive Atmosphere that all of Pittsburgh and the surrounding area has come to enjoy!  We are also seeking talented individuals to participate in our Royal Court and Street Casts.  Compensation determined upon acceptance to the Cast.

Requirements: New applicants must be 18 years of age or older and available for the entire Festival season.  Rehearsals are required prior to the start of the season. Applicants should bring a résumé and current photo to the audition and should prepare a one-minute classic monologue, and  brief presentation of their character or talent. Costumes or photographs of costuming are encouraged at auditions, but not required.

  • Applicants should be available for the entire Festival season.
  • Festival Dates are August 21st ~ September 26th on Weekends plus Labor Day.
  • Rehearsal Dates prior to the Festival may also be required in July and August.
